IWD: She Raised Us- Returning The Love She Gave
ELDA Foundation gathered with a vibrant group of elderly women to celebrate International Women’s Day. In an intimate and warm setting, the air was filled with more than just conversation; it was filled with the lived history of resilience, love, and grace. From navigating life’s transitions to the quiet strength found in community, their voices offered a masterclass in dignity and self-worth. By creating this intentional space, ELDA sought to ensure that these voices are not just heard but celebrated and preserved as a vital part of our collective heritage.
Community Drive: To The Streets With Love
The Abijo Community became a hub of health and hope as the ELDA Foundation hosted “To The Streets With Love” outreach. For many elderly residents, the day was about more than just clinical checks; it was about being seen and heard. Our team provided comprehensive blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, personalised medical consultations, and essential medications. By bridging the gap between the elderly and quality medical guidance, we fostered a sense of belonging and reassurance, reminding our elders that they are cherished pillars of our community.
ELDA Lekki Community Pop-Up
The ELDA Lekki Community Pop-Up created a calm, welcoming space where older adults could connect, share stories, and experience care rooted in dignity and belonging.
Bringing ELDA directly into the community, the pop-up fostered meaningful conversations between seniors, families, and caregivers, reminding everyone that ageing should be accompanied by presence, not isolation.
